SEPTEMBER REPORT

For My Junior High School's homepage Blog

Wow - I have been very busy and haven't added anything new here for while - gomenasai!

So today I want to put a few pictures from September.

OK let's start!

In September I went for a trip to Kobe with Andrew Sensei (from Kutsuki Junior High School)

We saw Kobe tower and the big aquarium!

My favorite thing in Kobe was the the big figure of the Japanese 'Iron Man' (Testsu Jin).

I was surprised how big he was!

Travelling is fun, but I was busy at school too!

I was working with two students for the English speech contest.

They practiced very hard and on October 8th we went to Adogawa for the contest.

There were many students from all of Shiga, the Imazu students did very well and we won the 3rd prize for best speech!

I was very proud! Coming back to school we saw a nice rainbow too :-)

After the speech contest I had some free time, so I went for a trip to Nara.

I wanted to see the full-moon festival in Nara, but it was very cloudy and we couldn't see the moon :-(

The next day was rainy, but I went to see the famous temples and the deer.

I was very worried about the deer.

Sometimes they were very close to the cars!!

They deer look very cute, but if you buy food for them they push and fight for it.

Nara has many old buildings.

I saw many famous temples and the giant Buddha.

I also saw mochi being made for the first time - this was very interesting for me!

They were very fast!

After watching I ate some of the mochi - it was delicious!!

That's all for today, more soon - I promise!
